Uses
Sika® Aktivator-205 is used to improve adhesion on non-porous substrates such as metals, plastics, ceramic silkscreens and painted surfaces. Ask for advice from the manufacturer and perform tests on the original substrates before using Sika® Aktivator-205 on stress cracking materials. This product is only suitable for experienced professional users. To ensure adhesion and compatibility of materials, you must perform tests with substrates in real conditions.Product details

Application
APPLICATION METHOD
The surfaces must be clean, dry and devoid of grease, oil, dust and contaminants.
Adhesion on substrates can be improved by adding and/or combining pre-treatment processes such as abrasion and cleaning before the activator application.
Application
Pass the area to be glued with a paper cloth that does not parade clean and moistened (not wet) with Sika® Aktivator-205. Never immerse the cloth in the activator and pass the surface only with a clean side. Do not moisten the same paper cloth twice, and change it frequently.
Sika® Aktivator-205 must be applied with moderation as the excess of activator may cause an adhesion error.
If the pretreated area is not pasted within the maximum flash-off time, the activation process must be repeated (only once).
The ideal application and surface temperature is between 15 °C and 25 °C.
Consumption and method of application depend on the specific nature of substrates.
Securely shut down the container immediately after each use.
