For a better finish, use the Scotch-BriteTM Clean and Strip disc. Our nonwoven discs are a safe alternative to metal brushes to clean welds and remove rust and paint effectively. They cover a wider surface, producing more fine results that can make the subsequent finishing phases superfluous. Scotch-BriteTM Clean and Strip discs contain Extra Coarse granules of silicon carbide, usually used in low-pressure applications such as coating preparation. Silicon carbide breaks faster than aluminum oxide, for a higher finish. Our industrial abrasives Scotch-BriteTM are unique products for surface finishing. They are obtained by combining nylon fibers and other synthetic fibres not woven to create a system that offers constant results throughout the useful life of the product. The discs are perfect for removing soft coatings. The open material, along with the aggressive abrasive, forms a disk that works evenly and resists clogging. By limiting fiber clogging, abrasive mineral maintains high cutting performance.
