Use the precut manual swab on Scotch-BriteTM roll for many activities on a wide range of materials. Our manual swabs are provided on roll and pre-cut at regular intervals for convenience. They produce fine finishing results after each use and are a valid alternative to steel wool, metal brushes, abrasive paper and other nonwoven fabric products for deep cleaning operations or finishing activities. These swabs combine flexibility, effectiveness of cutting action and manual precision control and, unlike steel wool, do not break or rust during or after use and do not even produce metal chips. Manual swabs are indicated for cleaning, finishing, graining, removal of paint defects and sanding. Our fine grain aluminum oxide abrasives 3Mtm guarantee a quick and fine cut, leaving the surface smoothed. The non-woven fabric material with open texture resists clogging and can be used dry, with water and solvents and can be rinsed for later use. The swabs can be used with a manual valve for a uniform finish or in an online sander to cover extended areas. The Scotch-BriteTM industrial abrasives are exclusive products for surface treatment and contain embedded abrasive granules in nonwoven nylon or other synthetic fibres. This combination of granules and fibers creates an abrasive system that offers constant results throughout the life of the product. The open textured material is load-resistant and maintains the cutting performance of abrasive minerals at high levels by limiting fiber clogging. Manual swabs can be folded, stacked or rolled for effective cleaning or conditioning on flat, irregular or shaped surfaces.
