We recommend lamellar disc 3MTM CubitronTM II 967A for the rapid cutting and construction of flexible blades, which allows molaring and masking simultaneously. Our lamellar discs contain ceramic mineral 3MTM PSG (Precision Shaped Grain), which allows a particularly high cutting speed at lower pressure. This granule forms triangular tips that affect metal instead of digging it like traditional abrasives. The tips are continuously self-affirting as they break, for an extremely fast cut. In this way, the operator can complete heavy tasks such as welding and edge grinding, rust removal, marking masking and deburring with less fatigue. The coolant additive activated by heat makes this disk a great product for all types of metal. This additive allows the cooling of the disk on stainless steel and heat-sensitive metals, such as nickel alloys and titanium, as well as the reduction of the risk of burning and oxidation of metal and the risk of cracking linked to stresses caused by heat. A unique support in poly-cotton weighing Y allows a controlled and uniform consumption, without clogging or glazing. This allows the operator to achieve higher productivity per disk. Lamellar discs are three-dimensional grinding discs with overlapping layers of reinforced blades opening from the core. As the overlapping layers of lamella are consumed, they expose new abrasive mineral for a rapid and homogeneous cut, while the support of the lamella creates a uniform finish. In normal conditions our lamellar discs generate a better finish than the fiber discs of the same grain. The superimposed structure makes a greater amount of abrasive material come into contact with the cutting surface, for performance significantly higher than the common discs. This is why our discs significantly increase productivity in grinding operations. These discs perform two operations in one as they allow to remove and finish simultaneously and therefore can replace both discs and fiber discs. They are a practical solution to save time and money in a wide range of applications, especially when the final finish and absence of grooves are important.
