More info

Tercoo® is a rotary disc that can remove rust, paint, tar, epoxy resin, ect. adhesive coatings from a wide range of materials such as: steel, iron, other metals, cement and stone. The result of its use is a surface with porosity and purity perfect for creating new coatings and covers

How does Tercoo® work?

Tercoo® is a natural rubber disc equipped with 12 hard metal pockets. These pockets are installed in the middle of the disc and are pushed out with the optimal angle by the centrifugal force. The Tercoo® discs are elastic and flexible and can produce a very similar carding to the one that would be using a grinder. The metal heels can perfectly scratch the surface so that elements such as tar, adhesive and sealants are very easy to remove, unlike other tools that generate too friction and heat. Tercoo® will always bring the work to term, no matter what material you are facing.

Models:

Three different models are available, all suitable for a drill with max 4,000 RPM:

Single blade: suitable for small surfaces, for removing water bubbles in paint or rust spots, etc.

Double blade: suitable for medium sized surfaces, such as small keel or bridges.

Triple Blade: is optimal for larger surfaces, such as hulls or entire bridges.

Because you create a perfect oscillation of metal caps, we recommend the use of Tercoo® discs with a drill that expresses between 2500 and 3000 rpm.

The discs are ideal for removing paint, epoxy primers, rust, tar, etc., from metal surfaces, steel and concrete. Available in single, double or triple disk (it works three times faster). Carteggia 4-6 m2 / h (single disk). Cleans from 90 to 120 square meters. Lock bolts: 8 mm. Disk diameter: 126 mm. disk width: single: approx. 7 mm, double: approx. 13 mm. triple: approx. 20 mm.

Safety and use:

  • Wearing always safety glasses, work gloves, mask and protective clothing
  • Maximum rotation speed: 4000 RPM
  • Optimal rotation speed: between 2,500 and 3,000 laps
  • Rotation clockwise
  • Always align the disc to the surface with an angle of 90°

Important: Be careful and do not push too much on the edges
