TERCOO IT 'S A DOUBLE ROTATING DISC

Tercoo® is a rotating disc that can remove rust, paint, tar, epoxy resin, paints, adhesive-coating etc. from a variety of metal surfaces such as: steel, iron, other metals, cement and stone. The result is a perfectly sanded surface with a corresponding roughness and purity, which can therefore be easily processed to receive new protective layers. With Tercoo® you can get an adequate surface, from which you can go on to apply new protective coatings.

How does Tercoo® work?

Tercoo® is a natural rubber disc with 12 hard metal pockets. The studs sit at a certain angle and by central means are pushed out of the centrifugal force. Natural rubber discs are flexible and elastic and create a very similar effect to what makes a sandblaster. The hard metal pins scrape the surface making it free from tar, adhesive and sealants and are therefore easy to remove. This is not the case with other instruments of this type, because of their mechanics, which create friction and heat. Tercoo® is suitable for every job, no matter what material you are facing.

Models

There are three different models, all suitable for a drill with a maximum of 4,000 rpm:

• Single disc:suitable for small surfaces, for example for removing water bubbles in paint or rust spots, etc.
• Double disc: suitable on medium-sized surfaces, such as keels or small bridges
• Triple disc: is great for larger surfaces such as the whole hull and bridge.

It is recommended to use a drill with a number of about 2500-3000 rpm, so that the oscillations produced on the metal kneading reaches the maximum effect.

The discs are ideal for removing paint, epoxy primers, rust, tar, etc. from metal surfaces, steel and concrete. Available with single, double or triple disk (it works three times faster). Working area of 4-6 m2 / hour. (single disc). Works for about 90-120 square meters. Mounting bolts: 8 mm. Diameter: Ø 126 mm. Disc width, 1 blade: about 7 mm, 2 blades: 13 mm, 3 blades: 20 mm.

• Wearing always protective glasses, work gloves, dust mask and protective clothing
• Maximum speed 4000 rpm / min
• Optimal number of laps: between 2,500 and 3,000 rpm
• Rotation clockwise
• Always putting the disc at 90° compared to the surface
• Important: Be careful and do not push too much especially to the edges.
