Low density foam on the support plate 3M XtractTM for low-profile finish provides additional conformation for final finishing applications where the workpiece had previously been leveled and finished using abrasives with larger grains on rigid or medium support plates. Along with an aspiration system and an abrasive disc 3M Xtract, the series with holes and grooves with exclusive design allows dust extraction and its removal from the surface to be sanded to avoid clogging, increase productivity and provide a cleaner working environment. The plator has external threads that adapt to an orbital or rotary sanding machine. Our proprietary multi-strong design works together with an aspiration system to facilitate the removal of dust from the disk, the workpiece and the air. Abrasive paper discs cut more effectively and last longer when no dust accumulates on the cutting surface of abrasive granules. Dust reduction is easier than ever with disks 3M Xtract specially designed. To achieve maximum dust suction, this disk can be used with a support plate 3M Xtract and a rotary sander with suction system (both sold separately). Our multi-powered product design 3M Xtract removes dust at a higher speed than products at 5 or 6 holes. This design does not even require alignment of the holes with the support plate (which is connected to a rotary sander sold separately), allowing you to replace the disc faster and easier. The Velcrat Attack System 3MTM HookitTM facilitates and speeds disc replacement. This results in increased productivity and less material consumption. Dust reduction greatly increases cutting efficiency and disk life, ultimately decreasing operating costs.
