Insulating tape Scotch 23, 19 mm x 9.15 m

The Scotch® 23 rubber joint tape is highly insulating to isolate and close high voltage cables. The tape autoamalgaously creates a tight and strong adhesion merging on itself. Highly conformable support of ethylenepropylene rubber (EPR) firmly wraps many profiles, even irregular and complicated shapes. The tape can be stretched up to 100% to provide a compact moisture resistant insulation. Physical and electrical properties are not affected by the degree of elongation. The black insulating tape, with 0.75 mm thick, provides the main electrical insulation for joints and cable terminals up to 69 kV and 90°C of continuous operating temperature and 130°C with emergency temperature overload. It also offers the main insulation to build protective enclosures on cables up to 35 kV.
