These polishing pads are designed to be used together with our color code system 3MTM Perfect-ItTM of polish and abrasive pastes. The pad removes the imperfections left by the sponge pads or the wool headphones when serving the best finish. The finishing results depend on the combination of the coating type, polish and the tools used. Our sponge pads are specially designed to adapt to the specific chemical composition of paints and transparent coatings. The sponge pads are generally less aggressive and produce a finer finish than wool headphones. The speed between 1200 and 2000 rpm allows to remove thin scratches, imperfections left by abrasive paste and damage to the surface. Foam pads are used together with traditional polishers and rotary and rotary tools.
