The cutting disc 3MTM CubitronTM II is equipped with ceramic grain made with precision 3M to offer exceptionally fast cutting and long life for use in almost all materials, including stainless steel, sweet steel and aerospace alloys. This disc is higher than high performance discs 3Mtm is both cutting and durability and offers remarkable advantages for productivity.
The power of the grain made with precision 3M provides a cold, extra-shared and quick cut for a long time after other disks have been consumed. Unlike coated abrasive discs, which form or sand objects using the disk surface, cutting discs create perpendicular cuts using the outer edge. Abrasive cutting discs are usually used to cut metal, such as car body or metal panels for the marine sector, stainless steel pipes, exhaust pipes, clamps and rusty locks. Cutting discs are connected to a tool (sold separately) and must always be used with its protection. Products 3MTM CubitronTM II raised the level of high-performance abrasives. The grain made with precision 3M (PSG) cuts better and lasts longer than conventional ceramic industrial abrasives and requires less grinding force to achieve superior performance. The result is that operators can molar faster and complete a greater number of disk parts with less effort and fatigue. To create the grain made with precision, our designers started with ceramic abrasive grana 3Mtm and used proprietary technology to model grains in triangular structures and electrostatically orientate them in support to form sharp peaks and maximize cutting potential. These spikes sharply cut the metal as a knife in the butter, instead of creating tears and grooves like traditional abrasives and are continuously self-affiring with the break of the tips. This creates a super-rapid cut and reduces heat accumulation caused by friction, reducing stress cracks and heat-related discoloration. In addition, the PSG wears evenly and, since the abrasive remains colder and sharper, the products 3MTM CubitronTM II lasts much longer than traditional ceramic counterparts, ensuring long-lasting performance in production applications.
